1)Past Perfect Continuous Tense is used to express an action which is started before the time of speaking in past and continued or stopped at that time; as,
- He had been completing his home work since morning.
2) Past Perfect Continuous Tense is used to express a repeated action; as,
- She had been trying to hang a coat on that nail.
