Use of ‘Are’ to Tell About Continuous Action

सतत सुरु असलेल्या क्रियेबद्दल सांगण्यासाठी (are) 'आहेत' चा वापर

आपण वर्तमानात सतत सुरु असलेल्या क्रियेबद्दल सांगण्यासाठी (are) 'आहेत' चा वापर करतो.आपल्याला माहित आहे की 'आहेत' (आर) 'असणे' (to be) चा एक प्रकार आहे.आपण 'आहेत' (are) साध्या वाक्यांत आम्ही /तू /तूम्ही/ ते/ या /त्या किंवा कोणतेही अनेकवचनी कर्त्यासह वापरू शकतो.

या प्रकरणात आपण वर्तमानात सतत सुरु असलेल्या क्रियेबद्दल 'are' कसे वापरावे ते शिकू.

या वाक्यात, अन्य (दुसऱ्या) क्रियापदासह 'are' वापरला जातो.

या वाक्यांमध्ये आपण मुख्य क्रियापदासह ‘are’ साह्यकारी क्रियापद म्हणून वापरतो.

आपण क्रियापदाच्या कृदंत रूपाचा (-ing) वापर केला पाहिजे.

वाक्याची रचना

या वाक्यांची रचना अशी आहे;

• We/ you/ they/ plural noun (subject) + are+ '-ing' form of the main verb + remaining words.
• आम्ही /तू /तूम्ही/ ते/ या /त्या कोणतेही अनेकवचनी नाम (कर्ता) + आहेत + मुख्य क्रियापदाचे कृदंत  रूप +  उर्वरित शब्द

   तूम्ही तंत्रज्ञान शिकत आहात. (main verb 'learn'+ ing)
2. They are quarreling with each other.
   ते एकमेकांशी भांडणे करीत आहेत. (main verb 'quarrel'+ ing)
3. We are listening to music.
   आम्ही संगीत ऐकत आहोत. (main verb 'listen'+ ing)
4. They are going to their home town. 
   ते त्यांच्या मुख्य शहरी (घरी) परत जात आहेत. (main verb 'go'+ ing)
5. We are coming to the annual function of your college.
   आम्ही तुमच्या महाविद्यालयीन वार्षिक स्नेह संमेलनाला येत आहोत. (main verb 'come'+ ing)
6. Students are studying in the library.
   विद्यार्थी ग्रंथालयात अभ्यास करीत आहेत.  (main verb 'study'+ ing)
7. Teachers are teaching optional subjects.
   शिक्षक वैकल्पिक विषय शिकवत आहेत. (main verb 'teach'+ ing)
8. Squirrels are eating fruit under the tree.
   खारी झाडांखाली फळ खात आहेत.(main verb 'eat'+ ing)
9. We are brushing teeth with toothpaste.
   आम्ही टूथपेस्टने दात घासत आहोत.  (main verb 'brush'+ ing)
10. Children are laughing at me.
    मुले मला हसत आहेत. (main verb 'laugh'+ ing)
11. Cats are crying on the roof.
    मांजरी छतावर रडत/ ओरडत आहेत. (main verb 'cry'+ ing)
12. You are frying snacks.
    तू/ तूम्ही खाद्यपदार्थ तळत आहेस/आहात. (main verb 'fry'+ ing)
13. You are singing a song.
    तू गाणे गात आहेस. (main verb 'sing'+ ing)
14. They are telling stories.
    ते कथा सांगत आहेत. (main verb 'tell'+ ing)
15. We are watching an action movie.
    आम्ही एक कृती चित्रपट पहात आहोत.(main verb 'watch' + ing)
16. You are writing a drama.
    तू नाटक लिहित आहेस. (main verb 'write'+ ing)
17. You are feeling well now.
    आता तुला बरे वाटत आहे. (main verb 'feel'+ ing)
18. Girls are reading a novel.
    मुली एक कादंबरी वाचत आहेत. (main verb 'read'+ ing)
19. You are closing the door.
    तू/ तूम्ही दरवाजा बंद करीत आहेस/आहात. (main verb 'close'+ ing)
20. Dogs are catching a ball.
    कुत्री एक चेंडू पकडत आहेत. (main verb 'catch'+ ing)
21. Boys are playing cricket.
    मुले क्रिकेट खेळत आहेत. (main verb 'play'+ ing)
22. They are glorifying it.
    ते त्याची स्तुती करीत आहेत. (main verb 'glorify'+ ing)
23. Monkeys are drinking water.
    माकडे पाणी पित आहेत. (main verb 'drink'+ ing)
24. Maids are cleaning the house.
    मोलकरणी घर साफ करत आहेत. (main verb 'clean'+ ing)
25. Dogs are pulling it.
    कुत्री ते खेचत आहेत. (main verb 'pull'+ ing)
26. Parrots are pushing it.
    पोपट ते ढकलत आहेत. (main verb 'push'+ ing)
27. You are opening the window.
    तू/ तूम्ही खिडकी उघडत आहेस/आहात. (main verb 'open'+ ing)
28. You are booking a ticket.
    तू/ तूम्ही तिकीट आरक्षित करत आहेस/आहात. (main verb 'book'+ ing)
29. Students are standing.
    विद्यार्थी उभे आहेत. (main verb 'stand'+ ing)
30. Girls are sitting.
    मुली बसत आहेत. (main verb 'sit'+ ing)
