Use of ‘Are’: Negative Sentences About Continuous Action

'Are' चा उपयोग: सतत कृती बद्दल नकारात्मक वाक्य

या प्रकरणात आपण नकारात्मक वाक्यातिल 'are'च्या वापराबद्दल जाणून घेऊ.

आपण वर्तमानात निरंतर सुरु असलेल्या क्रियेबद्दल सांगण्यासाठी नकारात्मक वाक्यात (are not) नाही चा वापर करतो.

आता आपण सतत कृतीबद्दल सांगण्यासाठी नकारात्मक वाक्यात 'are not' कसे वापरावे ते शिकू.

या वाक्यांमध्ये आपण मुख्य क्रियापदासह ‘are’ साह्यकारी क्रियापद म्हणून वापरतो.

वाक्याची रचना

या वाक्यात, अन्य (दुसऱ्या) क्रियापदासह  are not ‘नाहीत’ वापरला जातो.

या वाक्यांची रचना अशी आहे;

• We/ you/ they/ plural noun (subject) + are not+ '-ing' form of the main verb + remaining words.
• आम्ही /तू /तूम्ही/ ते/ या /त्या कोणतेही अनेकवचनी नाम + नाहीत + मुख्य क्रियापदाचे कृदंत  रूप +  उर्वरित शब्द

1. You are not learning technology.
   तूम्ही तंत्रज्ञान शिकत  नाहीत.
2. They are not quarreling with each other.
   ते एकमेकांशी भांडणे करीत नाहीत.
3. We are not listening to music.
   आम्ही संगीत ऐकत नाहीत.
4. They are not going to their home town.
   ते त्यांच्या मुख्य शहरी (घरी) परत जात नाहीत.
5. We are not coming to the annual function of your college.
   आम्ही तुमच्या महाविद्यालयीन वार्षिक स्नेह संमेलनाला येत नाहीत.
6. Students are not studying in the library.
   विद्यार्थी ग्रंथालयात अभ्यास करीत नाहीत.
7. Teachers are not teaching optional subjects.
   शिक्षक वैकल्पिक विषय शिकवत नाहीत.
8. Squirrels are not eating fruit under the tree.
   खारी झाडांखाली फळ खात नाहीत.
9. We are not brushing teeth with toothpaste.
   आम्ही टूथपेस्टने दात घासत नाहीत.
10. Children are not laughing at me.
    मुले मला हसत नाहीत.
11. Cats are not crying on the roof.
    मांजरी छतावर रडत/ ओरडत नाहीत.
12. You are not frying snacks.
    तू/ तूम्ही खाद्यपदार्थ तळत नाहीस/ नाहीत.
13. You are not singing a song.
    तू गाणे गात नाहीस.
14. They are not telling stories.
    ते कथा सांगत नाहीत.
15. We are not watching an action movie.
    आम्ही एक कृती चित्रपट पहात नाहीत.
16. You are not writing a drama.
    तू नाटक लिहित नाहीस.
17. You are not feeling well now.
    आता तुला बरे वाटत नाही.
18. Girls are not reading a novel.
    मुली कादंबरी वाचत नाहीत.
19. You are not closing the door.
    तू/ तूम्ही दरवाजा बंद करीत नाहीस/ नाहीत.
20. Dogs are not catching a ball.
    कुत्री एक चेंडू पकडत नाहीत.
21. Boys are not playing cricket.
    मुले क्रिकेट खेळत नाहीत.
22. They are not glorifying it.
    ते त्याची स्तुती करीत नाहीत.
23. Monkeys are not drinking water.
    माकडे पाणी पित नाहीत.
24. Maids are not cleaning the house.
    मोलकरणी घर साफ करत नाहीत.
25. Dogs are not pulling it.
    कुत्री ते खेचत नाहीत.
26. Parrots are not pushing it.
    पोपट ते ढकलत नाहीत.
27. You are not opening the window.
    तू/ तूम्ही खिडकी उघडत नाहीस/ नाहीत.
28. You are not booking a ticket.
    तू/ तूम्ही तिकीट आरक्षित करत नाहीस/ नाहीत.
29. Students are not standing.
    विद्यार्थी उभे नाहीत.
30. Girls are not sitting.
    मुली बसत नाहीत.
